How it works
Three steps from sensor to service.

Mount the sensor
The FINE sensor is attached to the firearm and assigned to it. It is passive and needs no battery.

Read it out
Hold the smartphone to the sensor. The app reads the counter via NFC: no cable, no pairing.

Maintain on time
The app converts the shot count into wear per component and flags parts that are due for inspection.

Does the sensor need a battery?
No. The sensor is passive and needs neither a battery nor charging.
How is the sensor read?
Hold your smartphone to the sensor. The app reads the counter via NFC, without a cable or Bluetooth pairing.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. The app works without an account and without an internet connection. All data stays on your smartphone.
Which smartphones are supported?
Smartphones with NFC running iOS or Android. The app will be available on the App Store and Google Play from December 2026.
Where do the service-life values come from?
From manufacturer specifications where available, otherwise from established recommendations such as armorer courses. The app shows the source of each value, and you can set your own service life at any time.
Can I add a used firearm?
Yes. Enter the known shot count as a starting value, and the app continues counting from there.
